Potato Processing Plant Liquid Effluent Regulations (C.R.C., c. 829)

About the regulations These regulations aim to reduce the threats to fish and their habitat, and to human health from fish consumption. They decrease the level of harmful substances from potato processing plants deposited into waters frequented by fish. Plants must respect the limits on biochemical oxygen demanding matter, total suspended matter, and pH in their liquid effluents.
