#D054medications and supplies"medications and supplies" include antitoxins, antivirals, serums, vaccines, immunizing agents, antibiotics and other pharmaceutical agents, medical supplies and medical equipment.high
#D055health information custodian"health information custodian" means a health information custodian within the meaning of the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 ;high
#D056personal health information"personal health information" means personal health information within the meaning of the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004.high

#D071construct“construct” means to do anything in the erection, installation, extension or material alteration or repair of a building and includes the installation of a building unit fabricated or moved from elsewhere and “construction” has a corresponding meaning;high
#D072delegated provisions“delegated provisions” means the provisions of this Act and the regulations whose administration is delegated to the administrative authority under clause 30.1 (1) (b), subject to any restrictions imposed under subsection 30.1 (2);high
#D073demolish“demolish” means to do anything in the removal of a building or any material part thereof and “demolition” has a corresponding meaning;high
#D074director“director” means the person appointed as director under section 2;high
#D075final certificate“final certificate” means a certificate prescribed under the building code or approved by the Minister as a final certificate;high
#D076inspector“inspector” means an inspector appointed under section 3, 3.1, 4, 6.1 or 6.2;high

#D084principal authority“principal authority” means, (a) the Crown, (a.1) the administrative authority, (b) the council of a municipality, (c) an upper-tier municipality that has entered into an agreement under subsection 3 (5), 6.1 (1) or 6.2 (1), (d) a board of health that has been prescribed for the purposes of subsection 3.1 (1) or has entered into an agreement under subsection 6.1 (2) or (3) or 6.2 (2), (e) a planning board that has been prescribed for the purposes of subsection 3.1 (1), or (f) a conservation authority that has been prescribed for the purposes of subsection 3.1 (1) or has entered into an agreement under subsection 6.2 (2);high
#D085registered code agency“registered code agency” means a person that has the qualifications and meets the requirements described in subsection 15.11 (4);high
#D086committee“committee” means a property standards committee established under section 15.6;high
#D087occupant“occupant” means any person or persons over the age of 18 years in possession of the property;high
#D088owner“owner” includes, (a) the person for the time being managing or receiving the rent of the land or premises in connection with which the word is used, whether on the person’s own account or as agent or trustee of any other person, or who would receive the rent if the land and premises were let, and (b) a lessee or occupant of the property who, under the terms of a lease, is required to repair and maintain the property in accordance with the standards for the maintenance and occupancy of property;high
